Global -- Garmenting Accessories Online Expo ’09 - the annual online trade fair event for the apparel accessories sector began on February 1, 2009 and will continue till March 17, 2009. the leading online B2B portal dedicated to the worldwide textile, apparel and fashion industries.

This online trade fair was originally preceded by its highly successful 1st edition - Trims Supplement ‘08, held in 2008.

Companies have slowly but surely begun to realize the power of the internet and in turn the influence and impact that an online trade fair is able to generate across the globe, since it does not have any demarcated and geographical boundaries.

This year too, the current online Garmenting Accessories Expo ‘09 has been able to garner a very good response from global manufacturers of garment accessories. This has come in no small measure to the good will generated by Trims Supplement ‘08 held last year.

Mr Surinder Tuli, Director of Tia Collection, India was very eloquent in his praise and had this to say, “The Expo has been managed very well. All commitments made, have been honored and all my requisitions have been acted upon immediately”.

Ms. Caroline Chui, Sales Officer, Union Success, Hong Kong impressed by the carefully planned various sections of the online fair said, “It’s a great experience to have participated in Garmenting Accessories Expo’ 09 which helped us to best showcase our accessories to the world”.

In a happy tone, she said, “This is the first time that we have participated in an internet exhibition, but since every section on the online trade fair is so well-organized, the going has been smooth and easy for us”.
