N.J.'s George Press Fine Jewelers toasts 30 years

Livingston, N.J.--George Press Fine Jewelers wrapped up 2009 on a high note. In November, the retailer toasted its 30th anniversary and commemorated three decades in business by inviting close friends and family to an exclusive cocktail reception at its Livingston, N.J. showroom.

The celebrations didn't stop there. To thank clients for supporting George Press Fine Jewelers over the past 30 years, co-owners George and Cheryl Press hosted a number of interactive promotions during the months of November and December.

Throughout November, customers were invited to enter to win a unisex Bertolucci "Serena Garbo" watch by visiting the showroom or logging onto the retailer's Web site, GeorgePress.com, and entering their e-mail address. On Nov. 25, Cindy Rubino of Caldwell, N.J., was picked as the lucky "Time to Celebrate" contest winner.

Via another promotion, beginning the last week of November and running until the end of December, George Press Fine Jewelers encouraged customers to bring in their oldest George Press receipt. The customer who produced the oldest receipt would win a $330 gift certificate for use in the showroom.

Over 30 years in business, the Presses have built the operation's name on their selections of bridal and couture jewelry, as well as timepieces and custom designs created by George Press himself. In addition to the retailer's custom designs and finished jewelry offerings, George Press Fine Jewelers also offers jewelry and watch repairs, appraisals, and the buying and selling of estate jewelry.
