Italy -- Salvatore Ferragamo wins the awarded title "Best of the Best” for 2009 in China for the category of women’s shoes and came third for the category of women’s handbags.

The recognition by the Prestigious Luxury Institute of New York for China market came after the same Recognition in the Men’s shoes for USA and Japan markets.

The survey, called Luxury Brand Status Index, is held once a year and is a respected and consolidated tool for evaluating the quality of luxury brands in the China market.
