Imagine 2009 Fashion Show features student talent

USA -- The International Academy of Design & Technology (the Academy) in Tampa will be presenting innovative fashion trends at Imagine 2009.

Imagine 2009, the Academy's 24th annual fashion show, is a collaboration of many of the design programs and will feature a full technical production along with creations from more than 65 fashion design students. The event will take place on Thursday, April 30th at the A La Carte Pavilion.

"The Imagine fashion show is always an exciting and challenging opportunity for our designers," said Nancy McGee, chair of Fashion Design Department for The Academy. "By participating in Imagine, our students take on the challenge of creating original designs and seeing them through the entire design process."

One of the fashion show's many diverse elements, the opening scene "By the Sea," is sure to wow spectators with an array of aquatic-inspired costumes. The show will also include an eclectic mix of bridal, swimwear, evening, cocktail and everyday apparel set to a new style of runway production.
